Our founder, Spider Graham, spent over eight years at Salesforce's Trailhead Academy as a Senior Applications Instructor. While he loved working with Salesforce client learners every day, he often felt that the curriculum he delivered was designed by and for engineers: rich in details about how to use the “machine,” but with very little time spent exploring the strategic value of that machine.

With over 20 years in the classroom to fall back on, Spider understands that the average person learning anything isn’t just looking for a ‘how-to’ manual—they’re also want to understand the why.

It means not making assumptions about what learners already know. Its about laying a solid foundation of understanding before building on that understanding. We also firmly believe that when it comes to time in a classroom, less is more. While we expect to give our learners the best deal, we don’t think that forcing 8 hours of instruction into a day is a better deal. Our experience as trainers is that human beings simply run out of learnng capacity after a few hours and need to let what they’ve learned ‘sink in’. For this reason, our classes start promply at 9:00 am, (our classes are taught in several different time zones) offer a morning and afternoon break, as well as a full hour for lunch, and finish up every afternoon at 4:00 pm. This way we avoid exhastion and allow people to have somethig left in the tank for the next day.
